Kitchen Transformation In Fresno With New Cabinets
We used prefab white shaker prefab cabinets. But some of the space didn’t allow for prefab cabinets, so we had to modify some of them and decided to add a small but very needed spice rack. To give the corners of the kitchen more usable space, we used 2 36″ Lazy Susan cabinets as well. The standard prefab cabinets did not come with wall panels and finished ends to compliment the peninsula back, so we made some panels and finished it off just right. For the countertops, they had picked out the latest quartz countertops, and brick layout for the backsplash.
We knocked out 18 inches from the wall dividing the kitchen from the guest living room. Replaced the existing 8′ beam with a new 10′ support beam. Extended the kitchen into the dining room by 40″ and added a 60″ peninsula to give them extra counter and cabinet storage space.
After doing all that work and running into issues (like we do sometimes in remodeling projects), we still managed to finish the project in 15 week days. And just like I promised the customer when we initially started, we had a crew working on the job every single day. That is what it takes to satisfy customers, finish projects, and move on to the next job.
