Kitchen Refacing Project in Selma
Customer initiated a call for a consultation on their kitchen cabinets because they wanted to remodel their cabinets. They had previously redone their kitchen countertops with beautiful granite and and a full granite backsplash, so tearing all that out was out of the question. The cabinets needed a facelift, they were outdated and getting old really quick.
Since the customers had spent close to $7,000 on the countertops, tearing everything out just to do brand new cabinets was very difficult. They were glad to find out that we could reface their current cabinets with new cabinet doors, hardware and lacquer they were very pleased.
We started by replacing the old doors with new shaker style doors made out of Alder wood. We chose alder because it takes color really well. Then we made brand new plywood drawer boxes and replaced the old hardware with new and updated softclose drawer glides and door hinges. Then we finished everything with white lacquer finish, not paint. Needless to say, the kitchen looks and feels just like a brand new custom made kitchen.
Total time from start to finish, 7 days. Total: $7,900
