Black And White Shaker Cabinets And Kitchen Remodel Project In Fowler

Customers met us at the Fresno Home and Garden Show last year in March. They initiated the call for a free estimate in their home for a kitchen remodeling project. Customers informed us that they were tired of the kitchen’s functionality and they were ready for a complete overhaul.

To begin they wanted to get rid of their old walk-in pantry so they could create more space in their kitchen for cabinets but did not want to lose the function of a pantry. After a walk through with the McColms, we sugested moving the refridgirator down next to the new pantry cabinet to create a more open look and feel. They also suggested the their current island was not functioning the way they wanted and asked if they could completely change the shape and location.

So, we began by tearing out their existing kitchen cabinets, countertops and the old walk in pantry. Mrs McColm wanted to mix the look a feel of the kicthen by going with black cabinets for the island and use white shaker cabinets in the rest of the kicthen, as well as make the cabinets go all the way up to the ceiling with added frosted glass cabinets with lighting inside. They also wanted to get rid of the microwave hood obove the stove and make a custom hood vent cover they she had found online. She was kind enough to send over the picture she found of the new hood vent and aksed if we could match it……well, look at the resluts yourself and let us know what you think of our craftsmanship.

Needless to say we made their vision along with some of our design suggestions come into reality.

Cabinets: Prefabricated black shaker and prefabricated white shaker

Hardware: Soft close hinges and drawer glides.

Countertops: Quartz; Pure White.

Custom hood vent cover, custom finished end panels for island.

Total project duration: 4 weeks.
